Taggedy Tag Tag 4

Lena and I bought this sweater for Stephanie back in April because we knew she was trying and I put it on and put an apple in my shirt to see what I would look like when I was pregnant some day. Come to think of it... I've never seen her wear it...

I was tagged twice with this one. By Wendyburd and Kayleigh.

I've already done 7 weird facts about me.

This is 6 random things about me.

1.) I've never broken a bone. But I cracked my nose when I was in first grade and talked my doc out of stitches because I didn't want the huge scar(I was 6). I can still feel where it cracked.

2.) I married a farmer but I come from a farming family. My dad, uncle and grandpa own a dairy farm and I drove tractor, truck, welded, helped with construction and did lots of really annoying manual labor that I'm pretty sure my dad made me do to "build character", whatever that means.

3.) I've always wanted to be super super good at dancing like the people on So You Think You Can Dance. The closest dance studio that could have taught me like that was an hour away and we couldn't afford it growing up. I took dance classes a few times and then was on my high school's dance team. I choreographed routines and LOVED preforming. It's something I miss a lot.

4.) I'm really good at keeping secrets. Except from my husband.

5.) I am driven crazy by people who think they are better than others. When eyes are rolled at me or I'm being glared at.. I get uncharacteristically angry. Mostly because these people know nothing about me or anything about the people they are judging.

6.) I'm very sad about the fact that someday soon I won't have any of my family in or around Rexburg. I've been spoiled with my brother, Nathan around since I came here and he's moving next spring after we graduate. I'm pretty sure I'll cry. My brother Kevin and his wife, Lena lived here for just over a year and that was so nice to have two of my four siblings here. We had a lot of family dinners. I still have my little sister, Lindsey who.. I guess isn't very little anymore since she just turned 20 Sunday, that is here and hopefully will be for a few years. I am hoping that a local boy will snatch her up and keep her here forever with me. I'm grateful that I have at least one friend (from college) that married locally and will be here forever and loves it. I know as soon as I'm finished with school I'll be around her quite a bit. I hate being alone! Jaren is very aware that I will be visiting family very often throughout our lives.

I wish I only got big enough during pregnancy to pretend it was an apple! LOL

I love the wall colors in the picture. Is that your home?

Will you take more dance lessons some day?

You will be the cutest pg lady! Maybe you should think about teaching kids dance, I am sure you would do a good job, you are very personable and sunny. Good job so far on your Nablopomo!

I think husbands are an extension of us. So when I tell someone I won't tell anyone else, I of course don't mean my husband! (He is a psychologist, so he is a professional secret-keeper.)

Cute little appley/pregnant belly!

I always wanted to be a dancer too. My problem wasn't so much logistics or money as much as the sheer fact that I have as much style and grace as a Mack truck. Instead I played basketball where my ghetto booty and inability to move skillfully were kinda useful in moving people around the court. :)

I miss my family too. They all live stateside, and I'm stuck up here with the sled dogs... but it is nice when they visit :)

If you can keep your pregnant figure to the size of an apple you'll be as cool as TAMN!

It always IS nice having family nearby. Mine is in-laws, but it's still my favorite family we have between us. I'm sorry you'll be sad. At least you have your blogging to take your time and energy.

Living by family really does make a huge difference! But what about Jaren's family? Does he not have any brothers and sisters in the the area?

Whitney R said...

We have Jaren's family. His parents just two miles down the road and I'm very grateful for them. They make me feel very welcome. He also has a sister that lives just 30 minutes away. We see her about once a week. I'm glad that we wont ever be void of family, but I will just miss my siblings :)

um yes. Why hasn't she worn that sweater? I'll take it if she doesn't want it!

Maybe you should keep the sweater....just in case.

I love your random facts! I did that tag once, and then got it again and I haven't done round two....I will get to it!

Oh, your apple baby will be beautiful. :) Thanks for doing the tag! Haha, I didn't know who to tag, so I just kind of threw it out there. You're a good sport...especially since you've already done the tag.

You never know what could happen between now and next spring!! Is he married?LOL

lena - I was thinking the same thing! But I would hopefully be expecting during next summer so I probably wouldn't get a whole lot of use out of it like you would.

I am too lurpy and uncoordinated to dance. I'm like those things you see by the road in front of used car lots- you know, those things that are filled with air and their arms flap around? Yeah, that's me.

I tried out for the drill team one year in high school. By the end of the tryout routine I was dizzy and puking. Needless to say, I didn't make it. hahaha.

Whit if i lived close to you I'd teach you.... you could just take your pick at the style! :) I'm teaching Tracey right now every friday. It's fun :)

That shirt is really cute....why isn't she wearing it?? Probably doesn't think it's form fitting enough right now, but I bet she'll wear it as she gets bigger.
