The Votes Are In!
Does this picture scare anyone? It's from when I chopped off ALL my hair. I want it back!
Looks like FRIDAY at 6 at JOHNNY CARINOS in Sandy.
Sorry Kristina. The poll said 9 to 5 (isn't that a Dolly song? and movie?). I thought you were going to vote on every computer you could get your hands on?
They don't take reservations - Who does anymore?? Just call aheads. So I'm going to call before 5 and I'll show up there at 5:30-5:40ish.
I'm telling them 10 even though the count right now is 5. On my "what would work best for you? breakfast lunch or dinner? or all three?" poll I had eight people who voted. Did that mean that those who voted were coming?
If your husband isn't babysitting or couch sitting have him come along, too. Or poor Jaren will be all by himself with a bunch of loud ladies.
Here is the address to Johnnies:
10585 S State St
Sandy, UT 84070
I'm mapquesting it.
Unfortunately I wont have had enough time to go spend my sweaty wad of cash so I will not be in my new clothes. Fortunately (like that Ramona?) if you were to have dinner with me SATURDAY night, then I would be all snazzy (I hope. New clothes do make you beautiful. Right?)
I haven't had P.F. Changs in FOREVER. So, I think I'll do that Saturday night. I usually only order the lettuce wraps. Then eat the whole thing. Mmmmmm. So stinkin good.

I feel so isolate in las vegas :(
isolateD
Hip Hip Hooray. Maybe if I know I am getting out to dinner I will be motivated to get up and actually do something tomorrow!
I am totally in- and I am bringing my blogging friend and sanity saver Teresa ("terrr-essa") who has become a new blogger and wants in on the action. I have to see if 6 works for her, but for me it is great.
Yeah, I gave up. I'm over it. Yay for Italian!
Ramona, is the the Teresa who blog stalked me and makes the cute aprons? Yay!
I'm going to try and make it, but I don't know what my evening will be like. The baby's got an appointment at Primary's at 4:00 (clear on the other end of town), and then we're supposed to be "organizing our thoughts" before our big move on Saturday.
I'm glad you are making the reservation for more...I'll see what I can do.
Oh, and have you ever tried Pei Wei? It's the same food as PF Chang's, only cheaper and quicker. Guess what? They have the lettuce wraps! Yum! Guess what else? It's in the same shopping center as Johnny Carino's.
P.S. I'm with Kristina. Boo Johnny's, Yay for Roadhouse.
If I don't make it, have fun, if I do....see you there!
Alexis - I'm sorry :( I feel isolated in Idaho, too. But it's just a teeny bit closer than Vegas. 5 hours for you? 3 hours for me.
Ramona - yeah! Bring who(m?)ever you want!
Kristina - I'm afraid it was a lost cause. I was Switzerland.
Ashley - I hope you can make it! And I hope you bring your little boy!
So bummed...would love to meet you fantastically nutzo people...
But as you roll by Santa Fe apartments in Sandy, think to yourself..."How frickin cool that Jay used to live there at the foot of the volleyball court and date every Delta flight attendant he could get his mitts on!! "
Oops...may have overstepped...
Yay! I'm so excited, not nervous at all this time.
Jay - too bad you can't make it. We are the coolest Nutzo's you'd ever meet. But I will think that when I drive past the apartments I wont recognize.
Mary - I am! I haven't met anyone! Cheater.
ohhhh, wish I could go!! by the way red rock IS SO GOOD! and if you do go to PF Changs call ahead! last weekend, we did not call ahead, and we had to wait 80 MINUTES, NO I am not lying here, and others who called ahead would just walk in and be seated, it seriously SUCKED!
Sorry Kristina!! I used my psychic persuasion power over everyone--that's how I roll!! Don't be too mad at me--PLEASE!!
I will be there around 5:40 as well--that way you all can get over my complete ugliness and largeness before so you don't choke on you food!!
Wah...I want to go to Johnnie's too!!! Have fun ya'll!
Hey I'm new to your blog so I really have no opinion on where you guys go! Although we lived in UT for 7 years and we never went to Johnnie's (Johnny's?). Maybe the next visit.
I think your hair is very cute in your picture!
Cute hair! So even though I'm somewhat new to your blog I considered coming (I didn't vote though) but turns out Friday night won't work for me. Boo.
Hope you girls have fun!
Awww sad! Wish I lived even halfway closer! Take pics!! And POST them!!
Wendy - I wish you could come, too! Ooo, so it IS Red Rock. haha. Very yummy.
Jillene - I think your talking jibberish. But I am excited to see you!
Leslie - I want you to come, too. Start driving. It wont take long. :)
Kristal - Welcome! Oooo, I think Johnnie's is better than Olive Garden :) Except for OG's breadsticks. When you take another trip, go!
Brigitte - Drop what your doing and come! ;)
wendyburd - Yes ma'am.
Hey! That JC's is right down the street from my sisters house:) But be careful, a guy got mugged there a few months ago. Of course, he was a diamond broker and they just wanted to steal his suitcase full of diamonds. So just hide all of your jewelry and you should be fine:)
i can't make it :( my mom gets into town around 6 this evening and she's helping us move over the weekend. i'll be thinking of you all and wishing i was there!
You were mentioned on TAMNS blog! I am so jealous.
umm, that picture freaked me out, because at first glance, I thought it was my 14 year old daughter and I was so confused!
Way to go Whitney R. for the Tamn shoutout...
oh my gosh, i LOVE you. you are so sweet and beautiful, and it's a crying shame that we don't live closer because i would love to hang out with you. and did i tell you that i loved your purse? because i did.
and thanks for the potatoes.
and tell your sister i'm sorry taylor was bugging her! i had fun tonight! :) it was nice to get out of the house and socialize... i hardly do that!
It was so fun to meet you tonight...and not just because you shared your amazing potatoes :0) Hope you have a great time shopping tomorrow and a fun weekend here in Happy Valley. I hope we didn't freak your husband out with all of our craft night talk, but I think we should do it!
You gave away Jaren Potatoes!!! Oh now I am weeping!! And I miss hearing from you...homework??
Thanks for organizing the mini Meet & Greet last night. I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to talk. That's what happens when you're sitting at opposite ends of the table I guess. Maybe there will be another one someday.
Whitney-
The meet and greet was GREAT!! I am so glad that it worked out!! It was really great to meet you and your cute sister and hubby.
So--Hannah is eating a potato as I type--like right this second--and she is LOVING it!! She REALLY wants to make you and Jaren a card/picture and send it to you. Could you e-mail me your address so we can mail it to you?
I LOVED meeting you last night. You are totally cute and your hubby is cute too in a young enough to be one of my kids kind of way, not hot like Brad Pitt kind of way because I am old and don't think like that of course! Hope you travel home safely and thanks for the potatoes, my kids are excited to eat them. YUM!
Oh my gosh! You so totally got married on the same day as my oldest daughter. They got married in the SL temple though. How weird is that??
Here is a linky if you want to see some of their pics.

Okay... I just totally snooped on your blog so I feel like I should comment, because otherwise, it'd be weird.
So um,
Holy CRAP that's a lot of potatoes.
I love potatoes, I eat them almost every day,(I'm sorry, I don't eat the Idaho ones, I prefer the ones that come from FRANCE :( don't hate me.)
