I have been in love with this thing since I first laid eyes on her a few years ago. The problem is I have nowhere for this to go - yet. Someday, I will have this and someday, I will have a place for it. The other problem is convincing Jaren that it really is beautiful, because he just doesn't see it like I do.
The funny thing is when I was looking for this picture I found this for $169 on one website, then went to another and found it for $269. I think I'll do some shopping around when the wonderful day comes when I give this baby a loving home.
I JUST remembered this chair in a room I saw at a home during the parade of homes last summer. The picture of the other side of the room is on this post. I really wouldn't mind recreating this room someday for a little girl.
Actually, I love black and white with one color so much that in one of my extra bedrooms downstairs I painted the walls green.. really green. It's grown on us and I've bought a few black and white accent things to go with it, I just haven't put it all together down there. Someday, when I do, I'll post pictures.

It's funky, but not too funky. Love it!
I love pieces that make a strong statement. I don't have anything in my house like that right now because I don't want it getting destroyed by kids. Once they're bigger, watch out.
You've got a place. ...
Put it in your green room!
Or, if you have a girl, do a black and white room with a pop of pink!
Cute chair!
Ash - I would LOVE to do a girls room just like the picture. Which has light pink walls and everything else black and white. Before I buy this, though, I have to get a crib... and stroller, and everything else that will take away all of our money.
I love the chair. But I, like Christa, will have to wait for nice things until my kids are older. They really know how to destroy things with crayons, markers and best of all PUKE!!
The chair is cool, I dig it.
I am crazy in love with Zebra print right now, and my husband hasn't caught on. I don't know if he ever will, but good thing I married a man who knows that the wife is always right! HAHAHA
Black and white stuff looks really good. Really classy. And it makes the accents look that much better, too.
This chair is soooo cool! Wouldn't it look great in the room with our matching IKEA black/white floral duvet?
I love it too....throw in a choice of either lilac, lime green, or red or something, and I am in heaven!
Okay the bedspread makes my eyes cross but I like black and white together and one accent color, if it was like turquoise would looks so cool!
such a cute chair!! i hope you get it one day!
I love getting inspiration from the parade of homes too! And green walls are my favorite. Guess that means you have good taste too! ;)
And I've been meaning to hop over and say congrats on your pregnancy! I've been following along on google reader even though I haven't left a comment. That is so exciting!! And I could totally see your little belly showing! Yea!! You're gonna be one of those super cute pregnant girls that's skinny everywhere else with a little basketball stuffed under her shirt. haha. And I don't think you can post too many preggo pictures. I really regret not taking weekly shots when I was pregnant. I say post those pictures every week!
I love it. I actually want a zebra ottoman but that is kind of the sepia tone. But Beau won't go for it. Maybe we will just have to buy them and bring it home without them knowing. Then there is nothing they can do about it!
That's adorable. I wish I had something to go with that... or that my personality went with that ;)
