I'm not saying that you didn't do well with these pictures. Just suggesting if you want to improve with the camera, learn what the functions are and learn to use them.Tashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13408531377192782243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2613486379907269268.post-3410901217899061072010-02-28T08:53:48.626-07:002010-02-28T08:53:48.626-07:00I think your pictures turned out great and I total...I think your pictures turned out great and I totally recognize the guy...I think we went to high school together haha.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09436542664210996891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2613486379907269268.post-46073520962835462792010-02-28T00:29:08.386-07:002010-02-28T00:29:08.386-07:00Whitney you have a great eye for composition! Your exposure is actually really nice as well. I wish I had some advice for you on how to feel more comfortable in Photoshop, but I learned over the years using my mom's programs and so I can't remember how I caught on to the basics. Lots of trial and error! You're doing a great job of non overprocessing, something lots of new photographers (like myself!) really struggle with. I'm excited to see where this goes for you!Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15820415812018249417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2613486379907269268.post-69955063256238777072010-02-27T14:10:45.574-07:002010-02-27T14:10:45.574-07:00I Think your pictures look great! I had some very hard classes that semester, and didn't spend the time I would have liked to on learning about photography. I have a couple of books on photography from the class. I think they have a chapter or two on photoshop. You are welcome to borrow them and see if they can help you!Chelsey Hymashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04621557958065362492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2613486379907269268.post-54344717068943150792010-02-27T11:08:40.087-07:002010-02-27T11:08:40.087-07:00It is a bit overwhelming sometimes trying to figur...It is a bit overwhelming sometimes trying to figure out a dslr and photoshop on your own, but fun too! and it looks like you're doing great! I looked on Amazon ...You did really great Whitney!

I looked on Amazon and these books sound pretty good and are for the program you said you use: Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows: The Missing Manual, The Photoshop Elements 8 Book for Digital Photographers , Photoshop Elements 8 For Dummies and the one that sounds perfect for a person like ME: Teach Yourself Visually Photoshop Elements 8. It teaches you visually how to do things and I learn best that way personally.Wendyburd1https://www.blogger.com/profile/01922782163374972681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2613486379907269268.post-84908228553307510552010-02-26T23:40:01.974-07:002010-02-26T23:40:01.974-07:00These look great, Whitney! These look great, Whitney!Kristina P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16144488639100871226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2613486379907269268.post-49052422406995439242010-02-26T22:04:59.391-07:002010-02-26T22:04:59.391-07:00Look for books for Photoshop on Amazon.
